Esther's birthdate is recorded on her gravestone, but it is likely that the year is wrong. The earliest census for which Keegans are listed in 1860, in which Esther is listed as being 40. Given that her mother would have married quite young (age 14 was not unusual at that time, I think it is most likely that Esther was born about 1815-rather thn 1813. The age spread on her brothers and sisters makes more sense with that year and so does her own child bearing. Even if she were born in 1815, Thomas' birthdate of 1837 - which we know for sure, woulld be a very late date for a first child. Of course, Thomas may not have been her first child.
