Andrew Farrell who was seriously injured in the C.M.& St. P.(*) yards at Marion while coupling cars and was taken to St. Lukes hospital where is foot was amputated, died at 8:15 last night. He was injured April 14th and was taken to the hospital about a week ago. His condition became so critical that amputation was absolutely necessary and then it was only a chance that his life could be saved. His foot was taken off last Thursday just above the ankle, but the loss of blood and complications which had already begun, resulted in his death.
